I’m super excited to announce we’ve brought back six of our best selling and much loved personalised wooden jewellery designs! You can order any of the styles above with the wording of your choice as necklaces or brooches with silver plated or gold toned fixings.
Here’s how it works…
Today :: Orders open!
Midnight Friday 2nd May :: Orders close!
Saturday 3rd / Sunday 4th May :: We make your jewellery!
Monday 5th May :: Your orders are posted!
I have also added a little deal for those of you who want a couple of pieces and you can buy two designs for £25. Yay!
We have only cut a limited number of wooden shapes so make sure you don’t miss out. We might make this an annual sale but you definitely won’t be able to order these again this year.
If you have any questions please comment below or email me leona@thrift-ola.com and here’s a link to the collection in the shop.
Have fun!
During the last Make Me An Offer Monday one of my lovely regular customers showed some interest in my Waechtersbach heart pattern plates and knowing that they weigh a tonne and would cost a bomb to post I offered to deliver them myself as she too lives in East London. When I woke up on Friday morning, the sun was streaming through our windows so I thought this would be an ace day to hop on my bike, deliver the thrift and get some fresh air in my lungs after a week of working away indoors.
It was great to be away from the laptop for a few hours and I made the most of it by meeting a friend for coffee and pineapple ‘n rum cake in L’Atelier, popped into Thea’s Vintage to swoon over her latest French finds including a jazzy set of floral retro sun loungers and used all my willpower not step a foot inside the Peter Jensen sample sale when I cycled passed it.
So East Londoners put your orders in and on the next sunny day I’ll be happy to cycle ’em over to you!
I like to think of Thrift-ola as a curated flea market which removes the hassle and the stress out of hunting down those special super cute vintage finds. So just like you would at a flea market, once a month in my shop you can have a go at haggling… Oh yeah!
To make it even more easy peasy you can haggle with me in any one of these 5 places… leave a comment below or e-mail me at leona@thrift-ola.com or if you follow me on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook you’ll have seen the posts and can make me your offers over there.
How it works:
1. Choose your method of communication from the list above and contact me with the product name & the price you’d like to pay.
2. If I accept the offer, I’ll let you know and then change the price of the product to what you’d like to pay for the rest of the day – although you’ll have to quickly snap it up before someone else does.
3. If I don’t accept your offer, I’ll send you a counter offer and the haggle begins.
March’s Make Me An Offer Monday will end at midnight 31st March.
I met the lovely Zoe waaay back before she set up her super cute jewellery label Ladybird Likes. She was the first person to show up at one of my jumble sales I held at Superette and it was so cold outside I opened up early and invited her and her pals in for a cup of tea! That was a fun day. I now follow her on Instagram and was excited when she posted about the mountain of stock going into her seconds sale which will start at 6.30pm tomorrow (Friday 28th March) and prices will be from £1 to £5. Woop woop!
The sale will be run from this account @ladybirdlikesthis and the first photo takes you through how the sale will be run so everyone has a fair chance to grab a bargain. I’ve got a serious eye on those cat collar clips. Good luck everyone!
Regular Thrift-ola shoppers will know I have a fully overblown obsession with all things Disney so when Nancy Mc posted on Instagram about her Disney eBay sale I’ve never looked up a seller so quickly before. Not one to be greedy though, I thought it only right that I share the good news with my fellow thrifters as I can’t bid on all 19 items, can I? Every item has a starting price of 99p, my kinda sale, and the goods can be found here. I will be keeping a seriously keen eye on this outstanding vintage Mickey ‘n Minnie cardigan. Phwoar!
I also have two super cute Minnie Mouse vintage mugs for sale in my shop so you can drink super cute cuppas whilst bidding away.
Bon chance!
